Steps for Enrollment

 

  1. Application

It is important to begin the enrollment process as early as possible.  It normally takes a minimum of 2 weeks to process an application.  Enrollment begins March 1st preceding the fall semester.  Complete the application and mail or bring it to Suburban Christian School, along with the registration fee, as soon as possible. 

 

  1. Placement Exam

All entering kindergarten students will be required to take a readiness exam.  The exam will be conducted over the summer months.  The school office will call to schedule your testing appointment.

 

  1. Health

All students are required to submit a completed Medical History form and an up-to-date immunization record.    Sixth grade students will need to update immunizations.     

 

  1. Birth Certificate

A copy of the student’s birth certificate must be on file before enrollment can be completed.

 

  1. Transcripts

A copy of the student’s transcripts must be on file before enrollment can be finalized.  Home school students should submit a copy of his/her grades and any Standardized Test results.

 

  1. Interview

After successful completion of the application and exam (if applicable), you will be contacted to schedule a time for an interview involving the student(s), parent(s), and principal to discuss school policies and expectations.  Billing arrangements may be made at this time.
